I just finished listening to Utada Hikaru's latest english debut album -- Exodus. At first i scan thru all the 14 songs to get a 'taste' of wat tis new album has to offer. I find tat this album has a very different approach from her previous albums. This time she has chosen a whole new genre, unique but weird in comparison with contemporary music. While listening, i referred to the lyrics and i could feel the futuristic vibes in her songs. Listening to it prompted me to imagine an over-populated city which never sleeps with a high speed railway above the streets channeling and stretching thru the city.
Immediately two songs (Exodus '04 and Hotel Lobby) caught my attention and i've played them again cos they're so nice to listen to. I can jus indulge in the mood of both songs n follow the streaming music into her world.
